Position Overview

Doppio – a leading Infor Alliance and Delivery Partner in North America – is seeking a results-driven VP of Delivery Services to provide leadership to our consulting team in successful execution of Infor M3 implementation and migration projects as well as application managed services.  At a high level, this person will oversee the consulting organization across multiple areas of expertise, ensuring that projects are executed on time, on budget, and to the highest quality standards and support services are also provided with the highest standards and meet SLA commitments.  The VP of Delivery Services will drive operational excellence, resource optimization, and customer satisfaction while fostering a high-performance consulting culture.   They will also lend their consulting expertise to our sales process, helping pitch and scope work. Finally, since we are a growth company, this individual will drive development of best practices, while also providing mentorship and guidance to enable meaningful career progression to our global consulting team.

More specifically, here is what you will be doing:
Delivery Focus
  • Define and execute an overall consulting delivery strategy by leveraging global resources.  This includes identifying short-term and longer-term plans to execute on projects while also building capabilities based on the company’s overall strategic plans.
  • Establish and refine best practices, methodologies, and frameworks that will enhance delivery efficiency and consistency.
  • Maintain high standards for project and support delivery through monitoring and coaching.
  • Develop and implement documentation standards as a way to better enable project transitions and best practices.
  • In partnership with our Customer Success leads, serve as an escalation point for clients and internal teams when critical project issues arise.
  • Interact with the client and our internal teams to understand the business issues and proposed approach, as a way to have current understanding of our business landscape and validate the proposed approach for solution delivery.
  • Identify potential delivery risks and proactively implement mitigation strategies to ensure project success.
  • Refine existing project methodologies to evolve from technical first project scopes to technofunctional.
  • Achieve an annualized ~20% billable target.
Leading Our Business Forward
  • Serve as an executive sponsor on selected, strategic long term engagements.  
  • Identify and implement best practices that enable efficient, repeatable delivery processes as a way to increase the efficiency of our work and maintain high quality as Doppio scales.
  • Partner with other Doppio leaders to ensure that work is distributed appropriately among the combined teams.
  • Help build out our leverage model through effective delegation to team members.
  • Participate in recruiting efforts to bring in the right people at the right time.
  • Partner with HR to build out Career Paths for the delivery team.
  • Coach, mentor, and provide feedback to team members in a manner that enables individual career growth.
  • Address performance issues if they arise.
  • Lead efforts to foster engagement among the team.
  • Continue to build a network of trusted independent consultants that Doppio can leverage as needed to meet specific client needs.
  • Help drive company profitability by analyzing key metrics and actively managing the business.
Strategic Sales Support
  • Help prepare and co-present demos and pitches to current and prospective clients across industries.
  • Co-prepare SOWs to ensure proper representation of our work, reduce risks, review price and margin.
  • Help evangelize our unique capabilities as a leading systems integrator, applications managed services provider, and fast growing implementation services Alliance partner to Infor.

Additionally, you have…
  • 15+ years of experience in ERP consulting services, including client management responsibilities and hands-on understanding on how to execute Infor ERP specific  projects, specifically at least 5 years with Infor M3 and industry CloudSuites.
  • Meaningful experience working with cross functional teams to deliver client-specific outcomes while leveraging industry-specific awareness.
  • Ability to understand large data findings to draw conclusions and convey actionable recommendations.
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build long-term client relationships, by taking initiative, and being a creative problem-solver.
  • Experience leading a team, including helping more junior team members craft career plans, and providing coaching/ feedback as well as attracting senior talent, including independent contractors.
  • History of being accountable for delivering against measurable business goals and objectives.
  • Change management experience, specifically experience with developing new ways of doing things and then implementing them to the point that they become ingrained in the team.
  • Experience driving process improvements.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth consulting environment.
  • Strong financial acumen and comfortable with analyzing data to make decisions.
  • Able and open to travel ~25% throughout the US and Canada.
