Position Overview  

Doppio – a leading Infor Alliance and Delivery Partner in North America – is seeking a Director to expand and provide leadership to our Infor M3 technical team as well as lend their technical expertise to our sales efforts.  At a high level, this person will oversee and provide guidance to our team of technical experts and business consultants as they design and implement solutions for our clients.  By the same token, they will not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty with Infor technology per client requirements. They will also lend their technology consulting expertise to our sales process, helping pitch and scope work. Finally, since we are a growth company, we expect this individual to help build out technical best practices, while also providing mentorship and guidance to enable meaningful career progression in our global consulting team.

More specifically, here is what you will be doing:

  • Enterprise Technology Focus
    • Based on domain knowledge, facilitating the development of the enterprise architecture solutions in close collaboration with the client and project teams, taking into account all aspects of the complexity
    • Interacting with the client and our internal teams to understand the technology employed, the IT requirements for the business processes, and defining or validating the proposed technical architecture and solutions
    • Applying industry best practices and advanced methodologies to address and review systems requirements, business processes, and any changing development and technology requirements
    • Overseeing solution design reviews with other team members, providing senior guidance and reinforcing design and architecture best practices
    • Overseeing quality assurance testing and practices to deliver services that meet requirements and integrate as needed with various parts of the business
    • Establishing documentation standards and ensuring that they are followed as a way to better enable transitions and best practices
    • Serving as point of escalation for troubleshooting critical technology issues to both the Client and the internal team

  • Building our Business
    • Introducing best practices that enable efficient, repeatable delivery processes as a way to increase the efficiency of our work
    • Serving as a billable consulting leader on strategic long term engagements
    • Driving growth within PMO led engagements as well as improving our Managed Services engagements
    • Partnering with other Company leaders to ensure that work is distributed appropriately among the team
    • Helping build out our leverage model and helping with with recruiting efforts to bring in the right people at the right time
    • Partnering with HR to build out Career Paths for the Techno-functional team
    • Coaching, mentoring, and providing feedback to team members in a manner that enables individual career growth
    • Leading efforts to foster engagement among the team

  • Solution Sales
    • Preparing and co-presenting pitches to prospective clients
    • Providing the technical point of view for SOWs
    • Building and managing relationships that result in long-term Client engagement and references
    • Helping evangelize our unique capabilities as a systems integrator to the market

Additionally, you have…

  • 15+ years of experience in software design and development, including cloud deployments
  • 10+ year of consulting experience, including client management and how the consulting model works
  • 10+ years of Infor M3 ERP expertise, both on-premises and in the cloud, preferably multi-tenant cloud edition.
  • Meaningful experience working with cross functional teams in manufacturing and distribution companies to implement enterprise systems
  • Infor expertise
    • Understanding of how industry CloudSuite integrates with Infor and third party edge applications
    • Familiarity with Infor multi-tenant architecture
  • Deep understanding of systems integration, data migration, and integrated testing on-premises and in multi-tenant cloud environments
  • Comfort with whiteboarding as a manner to work through problems collaboratively, and ability to create architecture designs on the fly
  • Ability to understand data findings to draw conclusions and convey actionable recommendations
  • Proven ability to collaborate and build relationships, taking initiative, and being a creative problem-solver
  • Understanding how the business of consulting works and how to actively manage it
  • History of being accountable for delivering against business goals and objectives

While not a requirement, we also really like:

  • Strong understanding of direct to consumer business models and fulfillment strategies
  • Experience designing and implementing enterprise-wide user roles and security permissions
  • Experience leading a consulting team, including helping more junior team members craft career plans, and providing coaching/ feedback as well as attracting senior talent
  • Experience using Agile/Scrum methodology
